Available for our Battle of the Rhine and Liberation of Holland Tours.
We have a created a “Spouses/Partners Program” that will appeal to the following situation:
Occasionally a spouse or partner may not have the same interest in battlefield tours as their significant other, or they may become “toured out” and wish a day to “catch a breath”, while their partner continues with the tour. For these guests, you can enjoy a slower paced and relaxing day, which may include shopping or taking a pleasant Dutch cultural tour. This may include a trip to Apeldoorn to visit the famous Het Loo Palace; a trip to Keukenhof to enjoy the tulip festival; a trip to the Delft factory to view the world famous pottery; a trip to Bronkhorst, Holland’s smallest city (pop. 170). Your selection is endless. This tour will also appeal to anyone who has an interest in exploring all that this area of Holland, has to offer. It does not have to be part of a battlefield tour.

Your hostess and organizer is Yvonne Swarthoff. You will not meet a more charming, gregarious person in Holland. You will be captivated by her infectious personality and sense of humour. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 005, one, of only a few RCL branches in Holland. Yvonne is also a highly competent battlefield tour guide and assists her husband Berry with many of our tours. Yvonne and Berry own a famous restaurant in Lochem called the Canadian Restaurant Mondani. Frequent guests include staff of Air Canada.
They have also catered to Ambassadorial events in The Hague for more than 20 years and are on a first name basis with the last four Canadian Ambassadors.
